A committee was set up to elect selectors for the various senior teams.

Selectors for the remaining teams are as follows:

U16 Willie Cotter.

U14: Yet to be confirmed

U12: Eileen Lyons, George Plunket & Dan Buckley.

U 10: Martin Lyons.


After the election of officers, the chairman Michael Shine congratulated the new officers on being elected. He thanked the officers who stepped down for their work and commitement throughout the year. The chairman wished the club a successful year on and off the pitch in the coming year.

 

 

ST. VALS A.G.M 2006

 

A large crowd gathered in Canovee Hall for the annual general meeting of St. Vals ladies football club. The club chairperson Michael Shine welcomed everyone to the meeting. Michael congratulated the football teams that were successful during the year in particular the U12 team who won the county A final and the U 16s who won the mid-cork final.

Michael Shine congratulated Briege Corkery on her huge achievements for the year especially on her most recent award of being chosen as the Irish Times sports person of the year.

Micheal went on to thank the various local clubs namely Kilmurry, Canovee and Kilmichael football clubs and Cloughduv hurling club for the use of their grounds and meeting rooms during the year. Michael also thanked the grounds people for their cooperation at all times. Michael thanked all the players in the various grades for their continued commitment throughout the year.

The secretary Helen Hinchion gave a detailed account of all the club activities during the year from senior to under 10. Helen thanked the trainers, selectors, first aid people who gave up their time during the year. She also thanked the parents who helped with transport throughout the year. She thanked the various referees for their work throughout the year and to the sponsors Mai Fitzs for their support during the year.

The club chairperson Lisa Foley welcomed everyone to the meeting and congratulated the football teams that were successful during the year, in particular the minors who had a resounding victory over Beara, retaining their minor county champions title for another year. Lisa went on to thank the various local clubs namely Kilmurry, Canovee and Kilmichael football clubs and Cloughduv hurling club for the use of their grounds and meeting rooms during the year. She also thanked the grounds people for their cooperation at all times. Lisa thanked all the players in the various grades for their continued commitment throughout the year.
