In addition a cheque of €1,388 was also presented to 'Ronald McDonald House' which provides a Home-Away-From-Home for families of the children attending Crumlin Hospital. Several events were organized to raise funds to purchase an 'Echo machine' for Crumlin Hospital in memory of Emma. This Machine which costs €75,000 will analyze the valves and flow rates in the heart, equipment like this will hopefully make a difference to a lot of other children. An overwhelming response from the Public ensured that this machine will be purchased and put to good use. Funds were raised through a dance in the G.A.A. Pavilion, Ovens, participation in the 'Evening Echo Mini Marathon' donations from Companies, Clubs, and numerous individual's. Emma's Parents Pat & Bernie along with the organizing Committee Olive Crowley, Moira Hallissey, Mary Down, Donal O'Leary, Paddy Crowley & Kevin Harrington wish to sincerely thank all those who gave so generously to the fund and helped in any way. The bank account for this fund is now closed.
